Welcome to Still Eyes (“Still Eyes,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, pages, and related features (collectively, the “Service”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Important: Still Eyes is an opinion-based, informational project. It is not law enforcement, a tip line, or emergency services. If you have credible information about a missing person, contact local authorities immediately.
Still Eyes presents case-style profiles (which may include fictional sample/demo cases and/or curated public-interest content depending on the deployment) and allows users to:

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you represent that you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
If the Service later offers accounts, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.
Votes reflect public sentiment and are not statements of fact. A vote does not prove anything about a case.
Some versions of the Service may store votes, bookmarks, and preferences in your browser (e.g., via localStorage). This data generally stays on your device unless we explicitly state otherwise in our Privacy Policy.
You agree not to manipulate votes or attempt to artificially inflate tallies (e.g., via scripts, bots, automation, or repeated voting across environments).
“Author Predictions” are opinion-based commentary meant to provide narrative context and analysis. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or outcomes. You agree not to treat predictions as official conclusions or actionable directives.
You agree to use the Service respectfully and legally. You must not:

We are not equipped to receive or process time-sensitive tips. Do not submit emergency or urgent information through the Service.

The Service, including our design, layout, graphics, text, branding, and “Author Predictions,” is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms.
You may not copy, reproduce, sell, distribute, publish, or create derivative works from the Service content without our written permission, except as allowed by law.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL STILL EYES OR ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, CONTRIBUTORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SERVICE.
IN ALL CASES, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED $100 USD (OR THE MINIMUM AMOUNT REQUIRED BY LAW, IF GREATER).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In that case, those limitations apply to the extent permitted.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Still Eyes and its owners/operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of or related to:

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts located in United States, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
